Stinson Map Company was first created in the early 1980s by John and Martha Stinson. They were contracted out by Acadian Ambulance to make a detailed street atlas of Baton Rouge that the ambulance drivers could use. Throughout the years the company has grown to include most of Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
